TOTE – LASTFRAME

Tote, meaning "carrying" or "shouldering," is reimagined as the "TASUKI TOTE," featuring wide straps inspired by traditional sashes, and the "HINEMOSU TOTE," designed for all-day use. These totes combine simple forms with intricate knitting and practical functionality. Using a rare specialized knitting machine found in only a few locations within Japan, this knit fabric achieves a delicate and intricate texture that standard machines cannot replicate. The material is firm yet lightweight, with limited vertical stretch but ample horizontal elasticity, resulting in a knit bag that offers more storage capacity and usability than its appearance suggests.
